Our Vision
In order to act as a catalyst to a lifestyle of missions, Team VSM endeavors to educate teenagers about God’s heart for the nations to expose them to the work of missions, and to provide opportunities for teenagers to experience mission work firsthand.
Our Mission
Team VSM links the student ministries of churches to the missionary efforts of the BMA by: revealing God’s global purpose, renewing a passion for discipleship, instilling respect for servanthood and restoring churches’ commitment to the Great Commission.
Our Strategy
Students are assigned to teams of six to eight with an adult team leader. The team concept offers students with encouragement and accountability while on the field. Students raise their own fees and train at VSM Boot Camp before taking part in a trip. VSM Boot Camp features mission speakers, training simulations, trip briefings and team building. After participating in a team trip, students are encouraged to consider a long term VSM trip and to recruit other students to missions. Additionally, Team VSM attempts to link students with the BMA missions department or awareness, support and participation through web links, newsletters and networking.

VSM offers mission trips for destination both out of the country and in the USA. Applications for the 2010 VSM team members and leaders are being accepted now!
VSM Money Deadlines and Mailing Address
1st Deposit of $500 - due October 1, 2010
2nd Deposit - TBA
3rd Deposit - TBA
If you received a $500 scholarship at SOAR, that amount will be applied to your FINAL deposit. You must submit the first deposit to be placed on a VSM team.
